the gleeful groom......?

i have asked my sweet, understanding, compliant fiance for one thing in the wedding planning process thus far. one thing.

our rare weekly discussions arguments have evolved like this...

"oh fiance! have you asked your friends to be in the wedding yet?

"honey...would you please ask your groomsmen to be in our wedding?"

"andy...did you do what i asked you to yet? the one thing i have asked you to do for our wedding?"

"hey! you have until this weekend to ask your guys or i'm gonna ask them for you!"

"baaaaaaaaabe...i need to get my girls in to order their dresses...like now. i really need you to ask..."

and then last night:
"may God rest your soul if you do not ask your guys to be in the wedding. there may not even be a wedding!
why must you torment me?
do you have cold feet?
have you changed your mind about marrying me?
why won't you do this?
i will punch you in the face if this is not done this week!
(and the kicker)
i can foresee a lot of headaches in my (our) future."



he's going to ask them this weekend...
