i found out recently that andy loves bed, bath, & beyond almost as much as i do...after having to corral him out the store one night when i was in search for the perfect pillow...and thought he was right behind me as i continued on my way out the door...only to turn around and not see him in the parking lot with me.
oh, no...he was still inside...in the stroller section. really, andy? the strollers?!? apparently...they are really cool. (we aren't in need of a stroller, for the record!)
anyway, the lovely registry coordinator gave us each a gun and explained to us their incentive program. things like...register for $500 worth of calphalon products and get a free knife. even if not a penny of it is purchased. not a bad deal...and andy was
which led him to scan the first calphalon set we see. for $700.00
you read that right, folks. seven hundred. he was being
from there i was told i was
which i, of course, interpret as him telling me i am not fun.
the fight which ensued led to tears (from me...not him), raised voices, and a bed, bath, & beyond worker mediating our squabble.
**note: as per the wise woman who settled our argument...whoever is doing the cooking and the baking gets the final say!
we were on our first item. there went my idea that registering was going to be a wonderful experience!
although, we did come to an understanding and ended up having a better time...thanks to
bottom line...there is not really one part of the wedding that isn't stressful. but try your best to enjoy the process. and don't let silly things ruin this once in a lifetime adventure! and learn to listen to and respect each other.
also...if your groom isn't real big into the wedding planning (as mine isn't) then when he does show an interest...
and to avoid as much drama as possible...remind any engaged man you meet that she is always right.

Don't worry...after years of marriage...HE STILL WON'T GET IT! ;) I LOVE your layout, btw...how'd you get the tabs at the top with the different pages? I want to do that!
ReplyDeletehahaha...oh man, how encouraging!
ReplyDelete;O)
and thank you! for the tabs, you add the "pages" widget and add as many as you want, titled how you want. then to edit the font you go to design/template design/advanced and then edit the tabs text, color, etc...
then finally, if you want it centered (the automatically align left), scroll down to "Add CSS" on the advanced edits and paste this code below in the box: (minus the quotes)
".PageList {text-align:center !important;}
.PageList li {display:inline !important; float:none !important;}"
i hope that makes sense and helps you out!
